Livestream FAQ

Q: When can I watch the news?

A: You can watch the news at any point you like! We have live news weekdays from 4:30 to 7 AM, 12 to 12:30 PM, 5 to 6:30 PM, and 11 to 11:30 PM. Live news also happens on the weekend from 6 to 6:30 PM and 11 to 11:30 PM.

If you bring up the stream outside of those times you will see a recording of the most recent newscast (example: if I load the stream up at 1 PM, I will see a replay of the noon).

You can use scrubber at the bottom of the video window to move to different points in the stream, or an earlier newscast from in the day. Drag the scrubber (the white circle with the red dot in the middle) left or right to advance back or forward in time on the stream.

Q: How long do you store newscasts?

A: Newscasts are wiped each night at midnight, except for the most recent newscast (in this case it's the 11 PM). You are able to watch any newscast that has already or is currently airing from the current day.

Q: Why am I seeing a "We'll Be Right Back" screen?

A: You're currently in a commercial break in the stream. Sometimes there are small gaps between ads, in which case you will see this screen. These breaks last a few minutes (as they do on TV) and will automatically swap to the newscast once completed.
