Winter Ecology Exploration

January 11 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

| 5 for members; $10 for nonmembers

Come out for a winter wonderland walk with Christine and Mo as they reveal the mysteries of nature in the wintertime. They’ll share how birds and plants survive very low temps and can adapt to life both under and over the snow. The group will also have an opportunity to investigate tracks and traces of critters in the snow.

Leaders: Christine Lamanna, SSI Postdoctoral Fellow, Maine’s Sustainability Solutions Initiative, University of Maine

Maureen Correll, PhD student in Ecology and Environmental Science, University of Maine
