Cherryfield Fire Dept. Haunted Hayride
Two nights of sheer terror! The Haunted Hayride is the Cherryfield Fire Departments only annual fundraiser to raise money for their scholarship fund as well as any needed equipment. People are given a hayride deep into the woods where they will encounter many ghouls and frightening scenes as they walk their way through haunt. This year the fire department will be donating part of their proceeds to the burn care unit of the Shriners Hospital for Children in Boston. There will be music on Friday night provided by talented youths from all over New England, including Milbridge native, Ty Openshaw. Concessions will be available for purchase compliments of the local Boy Scout Pack#139. There will be Cherryfield Fire Dept. beverage Koosies on sale as well as Haunted Hayride t-shirts. It is two frightfully fun evenings benefitting very worthy causes.
