A brisk west wind will usher a slightly cooler airmass into our region today but highs will still run several degrees above normal.
A disturbance is forecast to cross the state today giving us a chance for a few rain and snow showers throughout the day.
A weakening storm will slide east through New England today and bring a chance for some snow and rain showers to our region.
The storm that brought us the wintry mix yesterday and last night will pull away from the area today.
The Nor’easter that has been producing the snow, ice and rain across Maine today will move up along the coast of Nova Scotia today.
The messy, wintry mix will continue through the night tonight as low pressure moves northward through the Gulf of Maine towards southern Nova Scotia.
The storm system that brought all the severe weather to the southeastern states over the weekend will bring our region a Nor’easter today and tonight before tapering off to rain and snow showers early Wednesday.
High pressure to our north will keep us dry and quiet for our Monday.
Heading back to work and school for our Monday, things start off quiet with variably cloudy skies and highs warming into the upper 20s to mid 30s.
Sunday will once again feature more clouds than sun with temps yet again warming above average into the low 30s to low 40s.
Weak high pressure will bring generally dry conditions and variably cloudy skies to Maine both weekend days.
High pressure will build into the state today giving us a decent end to the work week.
