A storm system moving northeast from the Ohio River Valley will bring on and off rain showers to Maine tonight as the storms warm front lifts north through New England.

The small ridge of high pressure that brought the sunny and unseasonably warm weather to New England today will slide off to our northeast Thursday.
High pressure building into the region will provide us with a beautiful afternoon.
A warm and cold front will cross through Maine tonight with a few scattered showers.
A warm front will push towards the state today giving us a mostly cloudy day with the chance for a few scattered showers.
Monday was a gorgeous day, hard to believe it is October 17th with highs in the 60s & 70s across areas from Bangor southward.
High pressure will build into the region this afternoon.
An approaching cold front is going to bring a quick shot of some showers tonight, mostly cloudy skies and showers will keep our overnight lows mild into the mid 40s to mid 50s.

The storm that brought the rain to mainly eastern parts of Maine yesterday and very early today continues to lift northeast towards Newfoundland.
