**We’re now seeing Winter Storm Watches being put up for the storm that will move into the area Monday.**
Temps today will stay cold, making into the single digits and teens with skies becoming mostly sunny.

Arctic air remains well entrenched across New England for the second day in a row.
Some locations in far Northern Maine starting out this morning with dangerous wind chills.
Arctic high pressure currently centered on the west side of Hudson Bay will bring dry and cold weather to Maine as we end 2014.
That colder airmass we’ve been waiting for has moved in and we’ll see highs below normal today, in the upper teens and low to mid 20s.
Much colder air will be invading our region during the next several days after a prolonged period of well above normal temperatures.
Today we start to transition back to more normal temperatures with highs mainly in the upper 20s and lower 30s.
Overnight tonight we’ll drop into the upper teens and low to mid 20s with partly cloudy skies and winds from the west at 5 – 10 mph.
Today we’ll see the light snow across Northern Maine early, as a low pressure system moves through.
We’ll have mainly clear skies overnight. Temps will cool down, but only into the upper 20s and low 30s due to the mixing from the winds that should continue to subside overnight.

High pressure centered well south of New England will build in and bring us some dry weather for today and Saturday.
We broke a record high yesterday in Bangor.
A cold front will move east of the state this afternoon.

Low pressure will continue to track northward towards southern Michigan this afternoon and evening.
Some lingering rain and snow showers are likely this evening with some freezing rain mixing in, especially in northern parts of the state.
Moisture streaming northward into New England ahead of low pressure over the Midwest will give us the chance for some occasional light precipitation today.
Highs today will range from the mid-30s to the low 40s with cloudy skies and a few showers moving in as the day progresses.
High pressure will slowly slide to our east today providing us with a light east/northeast wind today.
Lots of clouds will stick around the area for today.
