Mostly Sunny & Cold Today

Jessica Conley

Updated 6 months ago

From the WABI-TV5 & CW Forecast Center:

High pressure will continue to bring fair and cold weather to Maine Saturday as it slowly approaches New England from the west. Under mostly sunny skies today the temps across the Pine Tree State will range from the upper teens north to the mid to upper 20s south. The high will slowly cross New England Saturday night and then drift up into the Canadian Maritimes later Sunday. As the high departs to our northeast late in the weekend a weak surface storm and an upper level trough will move into the Northeast. The weak system will bring our region an increase in cloud cover later Sunday, with just the chance of some scattered light snow showers or flurries later in the day on into Monday morning. Southern and coastal parts of Maine have the best shot of seeing a few snow showers, but any accumulation associated with them will be very light.
