John Krinjak

John Krinjak

John Krinjak is a general assignment reporter for WABI TV5 News. He joined the TV5 team in December of 2013.

A native of Connecticut, John is happy to be back in New England after spending eight years living in New York City.

John graduated from New York University with a B.A. in journalism and psychology. During his time in New York, he worked behind the scenes at ABC News--both for the Bob Woodruff Unit and Nightline--and at NBC News for TODAY. Although he thorougly enjoyed his time at the networks, John is thrilled to be on the other side of the camera telling local stories that affect everyday people's lives.

In his free time, John loves following news and politics, running, traveling, and attending concerts. A rabid Bon Jovi fan, he's seen the band live 34 times.

John lives in Bangor.
