Arundel Woman’s Body Found in Woods Near Her Home 

The body of an Arundel woman who had Alzheimer’s disease has been found – two days after her husband’s body was discovered in their home.

State Police say his death is considered suspicious and that he died of a gunshot wound.

The Maine Warden Service found 65-year old Sue Kim Coito this morning in the woods across from her home on Campground Road.

More than 25 Wardens and members of the state’s search and rescue teams began search efforts about 7am.

State Police detectives are now documenting the location and gathering any evidence at the site.

The body will be transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Augusta for autopsy.

Family members found her husband, 63-year old Matthew Coito’s body in the kitchen of the home on Wednesday afternoon, search efforts for his wife have been underway since that time.
