Here’s an event for people who like food. Say, everybody.
Maine Restaurant Week is in full force.
In Belfast, two restaurants are taking part.
Harborwalk is offering a three-course, $15 meal where you can choose from locally-sourced foods like a stacked cheeseburger.
“There are people who are creative and gung-ho. They’re going to come up with awesome food. There’s local food there’s a farmers market. There’s people coming from their boats dropping off muscles and oysters and there are lobsters, so we’ve got all the fresh local stuff,” said Tina DelSanto, owner of Harborwalk and Delvino’s Grill & Pasta House, both participating in Maine Restaurant Week.
Even if you have a go-to restaurant, this week organizers encourage you to try something new. Fixed prices and exotic ingredients may not last.
