Wellness Wednesday: Spicy Nuts 

Mary Lavanway was in for this week’s Wellness Wednesday, with a way to make a healthy nut treat at home.

Spiced Nuts

Servings: 18


1/3 cup sugar
2 tsp. McCormick® Ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. McCormick® Ground Allspice
1/2 tsp. Lawry’s® Seasoned Salt
1 egg white
3 cups nuts, such as almonds, cashews, peanuts and pecans


1. Preheat oven to 250°F. Mix sugar, cinnamon, allspice and seasoned salt in small bowl.
2. In large bowl, beat egg white until foamy. Add nuts; toss to coat well. Add spice mixture;
toss to coat nuts evenly.
3. Spread nuts in single layer on lightly greased baking sheet.
4. Bake 1 hour, stirring once. Cool slightly and break apart. Cool completely. Store in airtight
container up to 2 weeks.
