A Korean War veteran shared the memories of his father through a series books in Augusta Saturday.
Hale Bradt’s father, Lieutenant Colonel Wilber Bradt committed suicide nearly seventy years ago.
Lt. Bradt was drafted after pearl harbor and served for three years..
Bradt shared his fathers experiences through a trilogy of books he wrote based off of hundreds of letters his father wrote chronicling the war.
Though the books take place long ago, Bradt says the lessons are still relevant today.
