From the TV 5 Forecast Center:
A weakening storm system over the Great Lakes region will push some clouds into our area today and Friday. Each of the days will also feature a slight chance of a widely scattered afternoon shower or thunderstorm however the thinking is that the chances are very minimal and that most locales will remain dry. That being said, today and tomorrow will be pretty good days overall featuring more clouds than we’ve seen the past few days. With more clouds in place today, temperatures will be a bit cooler today with highs in the 70s to near 80°. Friday’s temperatures will be even cooler due to the clouds and a cooler northeast wind, expect highs in the low to mid-70s Friday afternoon.
High pressure is forecast to build in from the north on Saturday giving us a brighter start to the weekend. Temperatures on Saturday will be in the low to mid-70s for highs. Warmer temperatures are expected to move back in on Sunday as the area of high pressure slides just to our south. We’ll see lots of sun on Sunday with highs topping off in the mid-70s to low 80s. High pressure will remain in control of our weather through the first half of next week giving us plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the mid-70s to low 80s.
Rest of Today: mix of sun and clouds. Slight chance of a widely scattered shower or thunderstorm. Highs between 73°-80°. Light winds will become southeast 5-10 MPH.
Tonight: partly to mostly cloudy with a few widely scattered showers possible. Lows in the 50s. Light and variable wind.
Friday: mix of sun and clouds. Slight chance of a widely scattered shower during the afternoon. A bit cooler with highs between 70°-76°. Northeast wind 5-10 MPH.
Saturday: partly to mostly sunny with highs in the 70s.
Sunday and Monday: mostly sunny and a bit milder. Highs in the mid-70s to low 80s.
