From the TV 5 Forecast Center:
An upper level low pressure system will move east of the state during the day today. There will be some lingering clouds and the chance for scattered showers mainly this morning with eastern areas seeing the chances linger into the early afternoon. Skies are expected to clear out from southwest to northeast across the state during the afternoon. Temperatures will still be a bit below average today with highs in the mid-upper 60s north and low to mid-70s elsewhere.
High pressure is forecast to move in and dominate our forecast for much of the week setting us up with some nice summer weather. We’ll see plenty of sunshine Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the 70s to near 80° both days. We may see a few more clouds around Thursday and Friday with a slight chance of an afternoon shower popping up otherwise expect partly sunny skies and highs in the mid-70s to near 80°.
Tonday: lingering clouds and a few showers possible during the morning then clearing skies from west to east during the afternoon. Highs between 66°-76°. Northwest wind 10-15 MPH.
Tuesday: partly to mostly sunny, most clouds over northern and eastern areas. Highs between 74°-80°. Northwest wind 5-10 MPH becoming west later in the day.
Wednesday: mostly sunny with highs between 76°-82°.
Thursday and Friday: mix of sun and clouds. Slight chance of an afternoon shower. Highs in the mid-70s to around 80°.
