From the TV 5 Forecast Center:
An upper level low will move east of the state during the day today. Lingering showers mainly over areas north and east of Bangor will continue to diminish as the afternoon progresses. Skies are expected to gradually clear out from southwest to northeast across the state this afternoon as well. Temperatures will still be a bit below average this afternoon with highs in the mid-upper 60s north and low to mid-70s elsewhere.
High pressure is forecast to move in and dominate our forecast for much of the week setting us up with some nice summer weather. We’ll see plenty of sunshine Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the 70s to near 80° both days. We may see a few more clouds around Thursday and Friday with a slight chance of an afternoon shower popping up otherwise expect partly sunny skies and highs in the mid-70s to near 80°.
Rest of Today: brightening skies. A few showers possible over areas north and east of Bangor. Highs between 67°-75°. Northwest wind 10-15 MPH.
Tonight: clear to partly cloudy. Lows between 49°-55°. Northwest wind 5-10 MPH.
Tuesday: partly to mostly sunny, most clouds over northern and eastern areas. Highs between 73°-79°. Northwest wind 5-10 MPH becoming west later in the day.
Wednesday: mostly sunny with highs between 77°-83°.
Thursday and Friday: mix of sun and clouds. Slight chance of an afternoon shower. Highs in the 70s to around 80°.
