Unsettled Weather Continues Next Few Days

From the TV 5 Forecast Center:

Showers will be steadiest/most numerous for areas north and east of Bangor this afternoon while areas from Bangor south and west only see a few widely scattered showers for the remainder of the day. Drier air moving into the mid-levels of the atmosphere today will allow for some sunny breaks to develop over areas south and west of Bangor as well. Temperatures will remain below average today with highs in the mid-60s to low 70s. Any lingering showers will wind down early tonight followed by variably cloudy skies and temperatures in the 50s for the remainder of the night

Unsettled weather will continue for Friday through the weekend as an upper low sits and spins over southern Quebec. The upper low will give us clouds and the chance for some scattered showers each of the days Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Otherwise plan on variably cloudy skies each of those days with highs mainly near or a little bit above 70°.

Rest of Today: mostly cloudy with scattered showers, possibly a thunderstorm from Bangor south and west. More numerous showers and possibly a thunderstorm for areas north and east. Sunny breaks possibly this afternoon over southern and western areas. Highs between 65°-74°. Winds will turn to the south/southwest 5-15 MPH.

Tonight: a few early showers possible then partly to mostly cloudy with patchy fog. Lows between 49°-55°. Light and variable wind.

Friday: variably cloudy with scattered showers possible especially over northern and western areas. Highs between 66°-74°. South/southwest wind 5-10 MPH.

Saturday and Sunday: mostly cloudy. Scattered showers possible. Highs in the upper 60s to low 70s.

Monday: a few morning showers possible then partly to mostly cloudy. Highs near 70°.
