Crash Kills Teacher: Cutler Man Pleads Not Guilty

Updated 4 months ago

A man from Cutler pled not guilty today for his role in a January crash that killed an Eddington woman.

43 year old Scott Ramsdell is charged with manslaughter, aggravated OUI, driving to endanger and stealing drugs.

Prosecutors say a toxicology report showed Ramsdell was on drugs at the time of the crash in January.

Court documents show Ramsdell said he was driving from a methadone clinic in Bangor.

His attorney said it was icy on Route 9 where the crash happened.

47 year old Denise Golding of Eddington was killed when her car collided with Ramsdell’s vehicle.

Ramsdell is scheduled to be back in court in November.

Why isn’t the methadone clinic in Bangor being held responsible as well? If a bar served drinks and someone was involved in a wreck they would get in hot water over that as well.
