The Ellsworth Public Library is looking for your help in coming up with a name for their first-ever color run next year.

The library is holding the road race next June as a fundraiser.

They’re using the naming contest as a way to involve the public and to get people interested in the library.

The winner of the contest gets free entry to the race.

They hope to get some great suggestions.

“We’re looking for something that incorporates all of the different aspects of our run–it’s basically a 5k where we’re going to throw colored paint on people as they run by. We’re also doing a library theme to it, so something with books, something with color, something with running,” said Abby Morrow of the Ellsworth Public Library.

If you’d like to suggest a name for the color run, you can submit your idea in person at the library, or via their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/EllsPubLib

The deadline is August 13th.
