Firefighters from four towns responded to a blaze at a trailer home in Cherryfield this morning.
The fire broke out sometime after 11-AM at the trailer on School Street, just behind the Cherryfield Elementary School.
Crews from Cherryfield, Millbridge, Steuben and Columbia were called in to help battle the flames.
Firefighters were able to get the blaze under control, we’re told, in about 20 minutes but remained on scene for several hours.
The occupant of the trailer was home at the time, but there were no injuries.
The cause is unknown but the fire chief says the fire does not appear suspicious.
