Two teens died in a car wreck in Boothbay Wednesday and a man has been arrested in connection with the crash.
It happened around 3:20 am Wednesday morning on Route 27.
The Lincoln county sheriff’s office says 19-year-old, Casey Dalton of Boothbay was driving an SUV too fast when it crashed.
A 17-year-old from Boothbay harbor was a passenger, both died at the scene.
Police say Dalton was not wearing a seat belt, the passenger was.
After investigating, deputies arrested 21-year-old William Gerardi of Connecticut.
He’s accused of giving liquor to both victims of the crash.
He’s in jail in Wiscasset on $5,000 dollars bail.
