Former Police Chief to be Remembered Today

State flags will fly at half-staff in Bangor Thursday by order of the governor, in honor of former Polie Chief Don Winslow.

Winslow died last week after his four year fight with cancer. He was 57.

Winslow retired in 2007, after almost 28 years at the Bangor Police Department.

The funeral is Thursday afternoon at 2:00 PM at St. John’s Catholic Church in Bangor.

A procession will follow to Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Ohio Street, with a reception after that at Jeff’s Catering in Brewer, starting at 5:00 PM.
