From the TV 5 Forecast Center:

High pressure, which brought us a beautiful weekend, will move to our east today. With the high to our east, we’ll see southwest winds across New England ushering some higher humidity into the region. We’ll see a good deal of sunshine today with highs reaching the mid to upper 80s over the interior and near 80° along the coast due to an onshore wind. A weak upper level disturbance is forecast to move through the area this afternoon and could touch off a widely scattered shower or thunderstorm with the best chance being over areas north and west of Bangor. Any showers and thunderstorms that develop will wind down shortly after sunset. Skies will average clear to partly cloudy tonight with lows mainly in the 60s.

Tuesday looks great with sunshine, warm and humid conditions expected. If you’re not a fan of humidity then it may be a bit uncomfortable for you as dewpoints are expected to climb into the mid and upper 60s. Temperatures will reach the 80s to near 90° in most locales for highs Tuesday afternoon. A weak cold front will move into the state on Wednesday providing us with a chance for some scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms otherwise expect a partly sunny, warm and humid day. Wednesday’s highs will top off in the 80s inland and upper 70s to near 80° along the coast. The cold front will stall across the area on Thursday again giving us a chance for some scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. It will remain warm and humid Thursday with highs in the 80s inland and upper 70s to near 80° along the coast. The front will move offshore for the 4th of July Friday. We could still see some showers especially near and along the coast with drier and brighter conditions inland. Cooler and less humid air will move in behind the cold front with highs in the mid-70s to near 80° Friday afternoon. If all stays as is, the weather looks good for the holiday weekend.
