Former Hampden Man Accused of Threatening Family with Weapon Indicted

A former Hampden man accused of threatening his wife and children with a weapon was indicted Wednesday by the Penobscot County grand jury.

31-year-old Perry Antone, Junior, is charged with domestic violence criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, threatening display of a weapon and violating a protection order.

He was arrested in April following a standoff with police.

Responders were called to Antone’s house on back Winterport Road.

His family was able to leave the house before police got there.

They say Antone refused to come out for about forty-five minutes after they arrived.
