Bangor Woman Sentenced on Burglary and Theft Charges

A Bangor woman was sentenced to six years in prison for burglary and theft.

Prosecutors say 31-year-old Samantha White has a substantial history of theft and forgery.

State police said in September she was arrested after a homeowner saw her trying to take things from her house on Largay Lane in Glenburn.

Police say she fled in a car.

The homeowner says White was walking out of her house when she arrived.

“I think we came to a resolution that was fairly fair. It recognizes all the work she’s been doing to try and pick up the pieces and it also balances the communities’ interest in a criminal sentence,” said her attorney, Zachary Brandmeir.

White also plead guilty Wednesday to a separate theft charge involving a stolen wallet in Orono last summer.
