Wardens say a female adult black bear who is believed to have been visiting homes in Orono and Veazie was captured on Sunday.
They say she may be one of four bears that have been the source of complaints from residents.
Wardens used a culvert style trap to lure the animal, and then released her into a rural spot in southern Aroostook county.
After she was released, they say she trotted off to a nearby stream.
