It’s finally summer! Summer started at 6:51am. This also means the days start getting shorter now.
We’re seeing some clouds around due to an upper level disturbance. It’ll stay partly to mostly cloudy overnight tonight with temps falling into the mid to upper 40s with a light northwesterly wind. As we head into the day Sunday, highs will be able to warm up into the mid to upper 70s with partly sunny skies to start and increasing clouds in the late afternoon and evening. A few rain showers are possible tomorrow afternoon and evening too.
By Monday, things will clear out and we’ll see lot of sunshine with highs in the 70s to around 80 as a high pressure system moves closer to our region. Overnight lows Monday stay seasonable, in the low to mid 50s. Tuesday will be warm again with highs in the 70s and low 80s. The day will start with some sunshine before clouds move in ahead of a cold front. The front will cross the state Tuesday night and Wednesday morning and will bring showers and possibly some thunderstorms with it. Highs will still make it into the 70s for Wednesday. There will be some clouds around for the day on Thursday with highs in the 70s.
Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy skies with lows in the mid to upper 30s.
