East Blue Hill to Celebrate Summer Solstice

Saturday is the first day of summer and Folks in East Blue Hill will welcome it with drumming.

It’s a summer solstice celebration on Sunday, June 22nd, ┬ácalled 8,000 Sacred Drums.

It represents people from throughout the world who’ll be drumming on Sunday.

Locally, folks will meet on Curtis Cove Road, off Morgan Bay Road from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Be sure to bring drums and shakers if you have them.
