From the TV 5 Forecast Center:
The warm weather continues today with some sunshine and high temperatures mainly in the 80s to near 90° this afternoon. A weak cold front is forecast to move into the state this afternoon giving us a chance for a few widely scattered showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening hours. The front stalls out over the area tonight and will keep us under the clouds and a few showers tonight especially for cities/towns south and west of Bangor. Temperatures will remain mild tonight with highs lows in the 50s to around 60°
The front will still be draped across the state Tuesday and with a weak disturbance forecast to ride along the front, we’ll continue to see plenty of clouds and some scattered showers throughout the day. With clouds and showers expected Tuesday, temperatures will be much cooler, only reaching the 60s to near 70° for highs. Sunshine comes back Wednesday as high pressure builds into the area. Thanks to the sunshine, temperatures will warm back up Wednesday with highs reaching the 70s to near 80°. A warm front is forecast to approach the area Thursday bringing us clouds and numerous showers. Low pressure to our west will slowly push towards the region Friday keeping us under the clouds and scattered showers for the end of the work week. With plenty of clouds and showers Thursday and Friday, temperatures will be cooler with highs in the 60s to near 70°.
Rest of Today: partly to mostly sunny. A few widely scattered showers and thunderstorms possible this afternoon and evening. Highs between 79°-89°, coolest along the coast. Winds will become southwest around 10 MPH.
Tonight: partly to mostly cloudy. Scattered showers possible especially for areas south and west of Bangor. Lows between 53°-60°. Light and variable wind.
Tuesday: partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Cooler with highs between 64°-71°. Variable wind 5-10 MPH.
Wednesday: partly to mostly sunny and warmer. Highs in the 70s to near 80°.
Thursday and Friday: mostly cloudy with showers likely. Highs in the 60s to near 70°
