A woman from Bangor who killed her boyfriend, but was found not criminally responsibly, has died.
A spokesperson with the Attorney General’s Office says 55-year-old Gail Judd died three weeks ago of natural causes at a hospital in Augusta.
Judd was sent to Riverview Psychiatric Center in Augusta last year after pleading not criminally responsible by reason of insanity.
Judd stabbed 47-year-old Michael Drouin in February of 2012 at her apartment on Court Street.
Her lawyer argued she had a liver condition that made her delirious and she may have been in an altered state of mind at the time of the murder.
