From the WABI-TV5 & CW Forecast Center:
High pressure centered to the north and west of New England will bring sunshine to our region for the rest of our Saturday with high temps ranging from the low 60s at the coastline to the upper 60s to low 70s over interior Maine.
The ridge of high pressure moving into the Northeast will bring sunny skies and mild temps to all of the Pine Tree State Sunday. The high will produce fair skies throughout Maine on Monday as well, but an approaching weak cold front might kick off some scattered showers up north towards evening. On Tuesday our region will see variably cloudy skies along with a few scattered showers as the weak front to our north slips into Northern New England. Temperatures Sunday and Monday will top off in the 70s, with the coolest readings being found near the coastline. The combination of more clouds and an onshore breeze will hold temps in the 60s to near 70 Tuesday.
Today: Partly to mostly sunny, with high temps in the low 60s at the coastline to the upper 60s to very low 70s inland.
Saturday night: Mostly clear and cool, with low temps in the 40s to near 50.
Sunday: Mostly sunny and milder, with high temps in the low to mid 70s.
Monday: Partly sunny, with high temps in the 70s.
Tuesday: Variably cloudy, with a few scattered showers possible and high temps in 60s to low 70s.
Wednesday: More clouds than sun, with scattered showers likely and high temps in the 60s.
