Zumbathon Benefits Sick Brewer Girl

Hundreds are helping a brave little girl from Brewer fight cancer.

Wynter Przybylski is a first grader.

In February, she was diagnosed with leukemia.

A “zumbathon” was held by local instructors in Brewer Friday.

They had a great turnout.

Organizers hope the money raised will help offset the cost of her family’s medical expenses.

Wynter’s parents say they’re overwhelmed with all the support.

Her mother Lisa said, “We never imagined that anything like this was ever going to happen to us. We have been in awe from the very beginning and we put out, just kind of an initial fundraising page just to see what would happen and people picked up on that and it went viral from there.”

$4,500 has been raised so far.
