Beal College held its 122nd commencement today in Bangor.

Graduates and families packed Bangor High School’s Peakes Auditorium to receive their diplomas.

The commencement address was given by Maine Game warden Allen Curtis, who graduated from Beal’s Conservation Law Enforcemetn program ten years ago.

Curtis is currently one of the Maine wardens featured on the Animal Planet series “north Woods Law.”

Grads also heard from College President Allen Stehle at today’s ceremony.

“Beal college is a career-focused school, so these people are ready for work, ready to get into the employment market, and it’s really exciting to let them go and join the people who have graduated before them,” said Stehle.

“Coming here today–I graduated from this school with the goal of becoming a game warden. And I’ve accomplished that goal and done a few things. I’m only 29 but I’ve gotten to do some pretty cool things in life, and hopefully I can pass the message on to these grads that–set your goals high, you will accomplish them and do great things,” said Curtis.

125 students graduated at today’s commencement.
