From the TV 5 Forecast Center:
We’ll see another decent day on tap for our Wednesday. Strong high pressure will slowly slide east of the region as the day progresses. Clouds will continue to increase from west to east across the state this afternoon. Western areas could see a few light rain showers today but otherwise we’ll see a dry for most locales through the daylight hours. Temperatures will be in the 50s for highs in cities/towns away from the coast while coastal cities/towns stay in the 40s today due to an onshore breeze. Rain will spread west to east across the state tonight as low pressure moves through the Great Lakes region.
Low pressure will push an occluded front through the state on Thursday giving us a cloudy and wet day. Periods of rain will be steadiest/heaviest during the morning and early afternoon then taper to scattered showers during the afternoon as the front moves through the state. Temperatures will be in the 50s for most spots Thursday with some upper 40s along the coast with an onshore breeze. Disturbances moving through the area will keep us under the clouds and the chance for some scattered showers Friday through Sunday. Temperatures will be a bit milder despite the clouds and showers thanks to a southwest wind with highs expected to top off near of a little above 60° Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Rest of Today: increasing clouds. Highs between 48°-58°. Winds will become southeast around 10 MPH.
Tonight: rain developing. Lows between 35°-42°. Southeast wind 5-10 MPH.
Thursday: periods of rain through early afternoon then tapering to scattered showers from west to east as the afternoon progresses. Highs between 50°-59°. Southeast wind around 10 MPH.
Friday: mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Milder with highs between 59°-66°.
Saturday: mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Highs in the low to mid-60s.
Sunday: mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Highs in the mid-50s to low 60s.
