SPCA Pet of the Week: Meet Melvin

Updated 5 months ago

In Friday’s Noon Lunchbreak,  Diana de los Santos from the SPCA of Hancock County were here with Melvin.

Melvin is a 2 year old gray and white cat. He was surrendered to the SPCA of Hancock County due to stress in the household. He was around older cats and small dogs.  He’s had some hair loss and they believe that it was brought on by stress.  He does well living in their free roaming rooms with other cats and visitors.

Also, Diana told us about an Open House taking place this Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 11 am to 5 pm. The SPCA of Hancock County will have 50% off adoption fees and microchipping for pets at $20.

If you would like more information on Melvin or you are looking to adopt an animal you can contact the SPCA of Hancock County at 667-8088 or visit their website at spcahancockcounty.org
