Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting Tuesday morning in Dover-Foxcroft.

According to Piscataquis County District Attorney Chris Almy, Wilbur Corson, 22, and his cousin Kyle Corson, 21, were arrested on warrants by state police in Corinna, Friday evening.

They’re charged with attempted murder, elevated aggravated assault, aggravated assault, and reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon.

The victim, Reginald Melvin, 48, was shot at least once in the stomach.

Hospital officials say he left the treatment facility against their advice, earlier this week.

The cousins are being held in the Piscataquis County Jail.
