Bangor-area businesses were on display at the Cross Insurance Center Friday.
The Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce held its annual Business Expo.
Nearly 80 businesses set up booths in the ballroom.
Around lunch time a number of local eatery’s brought samples for the crowd.
There were mini-seminars on topics like time-management and networking.
Organizers say part of the mission is educating people on successfully running a business.
“It gives businesses a chance to show off, and we want people to be able to make connections in the community and be able to connect and want to do business here in Bangor,” said John Porter, Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce President and CEO.
“It’s been very comfortable and very valuable. I’m mostly going home with contacts of people that I’d like to be in touch with, and hopefully what I’ve left them will be of benefit to them, too,” said Edde Howland, a homeopathic practitioner out of Blue Hill.
If you missed the expo, organizers say the chamber is always available to the public as a resource, just click here for more information.
