Parmesan Crusted Asparagus

Ann Marie Orr was in to show Caitlin and Todd some quick and easy dishes for Easter Weekend.

She showed Todd how to make a side dish of Parmesan Crusted Asparagus.

Below you will find the recipe for this dish:

Asparagus crusted with  Parmesan

1 pound asparagus

2 Tbsp olive oil

Salt and black pepper to taste

½ cup  loosely packed grated parmesan cheese

¼ cup panko crumbs

Options: Cayenne pepper, hot sauce, peppadew peppers, Baby carrots

Preheat oven to 400°F

Break or cut off the woody ends of the asparagus spears.

Arrange the asparagus spears on a foil-lined baking sheet and coat with the olive oil. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and the parmesan.

Bake until the cheese begins to brown, about 8-10 minutes.
