From the TV 5 Forecast Center:
The cold front that brought us some showers to start our Friday has cleared the state and any lingering clouds have given way to mostly sunny skies as of noontime. We’ll continue with plenty of sunshine this afternoon and temperatures will top off a couple degrees either side of 60° for highs. A weak area of low pressure is forecast to pass just offshore tonight, close enough to just graze coastal and southern parts of the state with some clouds and a few light showers otherwise we’ll see clear to partly cloudy skies across the rest of the state. Temperatures will be in the upper 20s to mid-30s for nighttime lows.
Saturday will feature a mix of sun and clouds as a weak cold front crosses the state. Any shower activity associated with the front is expected to pass to the north of Maine so Saturday will be a dry day. Temperatures will top off in the 50s for highs Saturday afternoon. Low pressure is forecast to move out of the Great Lakes towards New England on Sunday bringing us some clouds and scattered showers for the second half of the weekend. Warmer air will move into the area on Monday allowing temperatures to warm into the 60s for most locales with a few spots possibly hitting 70°. Cooler weather will return to the region for the middle of next week.
