From the TV 5 Forecast Center:
The remnants of a weakening cold front will move east of the state during the afternoon. This will provide us with some cloudiness today as well as a slight chance for a few snow/rain showers for northern areas. Clouds will be most prevalent over the northern half of the state today with brighter conditions expected elsewhere. Temperatures will be seasonable today with highs in the upper 30s to mid-40s. Skies will clear out tonight as high pressure builds into the area. Nighttime temperatures will drop to the 20s for lows.
High pressure dominates Friday’s forecast with sunshine and highs mainly in the low to mid-40s. Our next round of unsettled weather will arrive Friday night and continue Saturday with mixed precipitation changing to rain over northern areas and mainly rain for the rest of the state. The steadiest precipitation will move east of the state by around noontime on Saturday with just some lingering showers expected Saturday afternoon. There will be some drier air coming in Saturday afternoon which may allow us to see some breaks of sunshine later in the day. Otherwise, clearing skies are expected Saturday night as high pressure builds into New England. High pressure will give us a great second half of the weekend with sunshine and 40s expected Sunday. Sunshine will stick around for Monday too and we’ll be a little milder with highs possible topping off in the low 50s in some locales. Another round of wet weather is forecast to move in for Tuesday.
