Students from Husson University are helping low income locals manage pain, thanks to a new healthcare initiative.

Physical therapy students will be providing pro-bono care at Bangor’s “Dragonfly Therapy” through, what they’re calling, the “SOARing Eagles program.”

Students and staff celebrated the partnership at an open house.

Kim Steinbarger, PT, MHS, Academic Coordinator for Husson University, said, “The secondary gain for us is also our students get to come in and learn how to be a professional, learn how to work in a clinic.”
