From the TV 5 Forecast Center:

Snow will continue to gradually wind down from west to east across the state this afternoon. Any additional accumulation will be very light with just 1″-2″ possible. Temperatures will hold steady this afternoon with readings mainly in the teens. North/northwest winds will remain gusty, making it feel much colder. Wind chills this afternoon will feel more like it’s near or below 0° at times. The gusty winds will also cause areas of blowing and drifting snow which in turn will reduce visibilities in some locales so use plenty of caution on the roads today. Lingering snow showers will wind down early tonight followed by clearing skies. It’ll be a frigid night with low temperatures expected to bottom out in the low to mid-single numbers below 0° north and near or a little above zero elsewhere.

Drier weather will return to the forecast to end the workweek Friday as a ridge of high pressure slides through the region. We’ll see partly to mostly sunny skies to start the day Friday followed by increasing clouds during the afternoon as weak low pressure approaches the region. Friday’s temperatures won’t be as cold with highs climbing into the mid-20s to around 30°. The weak area of low pressure is forecast to move through the state on Saturday bringing us some scattered rain and snow showers. Temperatures to start the weekend are expected to top off in the mid-30s to low 40s. A cold front will cross the state late Saturday, allowing colder air to come back to the region for the second half of the weekend. Temperatures will be in the teens and 20s on Sunday.

Rest of Today: periods of snow tapering to snow showers. Cold with highs between 12°-22°. Northwest wind 15-25 MPH with gusts between 30-40 MPH possible. Wind chills will feel more like it’s in the single numbers either side of 0°.

Tonight: lingering snow showers ending early then clearing skies and frigid. Lows between -4° to +6°. Northwest wind 5-10 MPH.
