The Rotary Club of Bangor is getting ready to put on its annual “Music Off Broadway” show.

The theme this year is “Take Me Places and Imagine.”

This is the 9th annual performance.

Organizers say there will be lots of singing, dancing, and fun.

And, all money raised goes toward a good cause.

They say its even more of a reason to get off your couch and go.

“Well to support what we’re doing and to see local talent because we’re not going to be on Broadway, but you never know who might be,” said the show producer Roger George.

“The proceeds of the show are going to benefit Sarah’s House, Cancer Hospitality House of Maine and our Rotary Club of Bangor has made a $100,000 pledge to Sarah’s House and the proceeds of this performance, thank you Roger, will be donated to Sarah’s House. So we’re really excited about it and hoping to sell a lot of tickets,” said President of Bangor Rotary Club Jenifer Wilson.

Shows are Saturday, March 29th at 7:30 pm and Sunday, March 30th at 3pm at Peakes Auditorium at Bangor High School.

Tickets are $15 for youth. $20 general admission.

Tickets will be sold at the door or you can buy them at Rebecca’s Gift Shop and BookMarc’s in downtown Bangor and Patrick’s Hallmark at Broadway Shopping Center in Bangor and Huckleberries Card and Gift at the Brewer Shopping Center.
