From the TV 5 Forecast Center:

Strong high pressure will slide to our east today switching our wind direction around to a milder southerly wind. We’ll see lots of sunshine today and temperatures climbing into the mid and upper 30s for highs this afternoon. Skies will start clear tonight followed by increasing clouds late today especially for the northern half of the state. Lows will be warmer tonight with lows in the teens to around 20°.

A cold front is forecast to cross the state later in the day Saturday. The front doesn’t have much moisture with it so it will be more of a cloud producer than anything. We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds and seasonable temperatures for Saturday. There may be a few snow showers over northern areas otherwise with the front lacking good moisture, most locales will see a dry Saturday. Colder air behind the front will move in Saturday night and early Sunday making for a colder second half of the weekend. A weak area of low pressure is forecast to cross the state Monday bringing us a chance for some snow showers or a period of light snow to start the work week. A cold front is then expected to come through the state on Tuesday with another chance for some snow showers. Colder air will move in behind the front for the middle of next week.

Rest of Today: mostly sunny. Few clouds moving in later in the day mainly over northern and northwestern areas. Milder with highs between 32°-38°. South wind around 10 MPH.

Tonight: clear start then increasing clouds late especially over northern areas. A few snow showers possible late over northern areas as well. Lows between 11°-21°. Light and variable.

Saturday: mix of sun and clouds. Morning snow showers possible up north. Mild with highs between 35°-41°. Light winds will become northwest around 10 MPH.

Sunday: partly to mostly sunny. Colder with highs in the 20s to near 30°.

Monday: mostly cloudy during the morning with scattered snow showers. Brightening skies during the afternoon. Highs in the upper 20s to mid-30s.

Tuesday: mostly cloudy with scattered snow showers. Highs in the 30s.
