6 Arrested in Connection with Suspected Aroostook Drug Ring

Half-a-dozen Aroostook County men were arrested in connection with a suspected drug ring Thursday.

Drug agents believe the group was selling bath salts in the county.

Over the last month, investigators were able to infiltrate the group and make a number of purchases.

Agents, along with Aroostook County Sheriff’s deputies, Fort Fairfield Police officers, and Homeland Security officials were able to recover 12 pounds of bath salt and about 40-thousand dollars cash.

All six men were taken to the Aroostook County Jail where bail was set at $10,000 each.

More arrests are expected.

The men arrested were:

Keith Cochran 38, of Mars Hill, Maine

Karter Burtt 24, of Mars Hill, Maine

Brandon Mills 24, of Mars Hill, Maine

Doil Hayes 33, of Fort Fairfield, Maine

Ryan Brewer 21, of Blaine, Maine

Eric Rosten 50, of Presque Isle, Maine
