Police say a Camden independent and assisted living home employee has admitted to stealing from residents.

Linda Perkins, 58, from Washington, was working as a certified nursing assistant and hairdresser at Quarry Hill.

Officials say they interviewed Perkins Wednesday and she confessed to stealing cash from one resident and gift cards from another.

Police say she is charged with two counts of theft and they are still investigating.

Quarry Hill management says Perkins is no longer an employee at their establishment.

Perkins will appear in court in April.
