It’s going to be a very cold first half of the week with highs during the day mostly staying in the teens and low 20s and overnight lows dropping to around or below zero each night. The normal high temperature for Bangor for today is 36°, but today we’ll be dealing with highs about 15 degrees colder than that.
The ridge of high pressure that is currently moving into our area will keep us under sunny/mostly sunny skies through the day on Wednesday, but by Thursday a low pressure system approaches the area and will bring us some clouds and the possibility for some light to moderate snow/rain/mix as we get into Thursday afternoon and evening. The good news is that temps will become much more seasonable for Thursday, and high will actually be ABOVE NORMAL as we get into the day on Friday. (Yes, we’re talking close to 40!)
Today: Highs 10° – 20° with mostly sunny skies.
Tuesday: Highs 11° – 18° with sun.
Wednesday: Highs 16° – 24° with sun.
Thursday: Highs 22° – 29° with increasing clouds and scattered snow showers possible during the afternoon.
Friday: Highs 31° – 39° with rain/snow showers.
