Bomb Technician Called to Bridgewater Gulf Station

A 30-year old Houlton man was believed to be on bath salts when State Police say he made threatening statements inside a store.

Authorities were called to the Bridgewater Gulf Station around 6 p.m. Wednesday night.

They were told a man inside was talking about everyone blowing up.

He was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

A State Police bomb technician and K-9 were called in to make sure the scene was safe.

The District Attorney’s office will decide whether to press charges.
