Rockland Man Wants Murder Sentence Overturned

A Rockland man convicted of killing his ex-girlfriend is trying to have his sentence overturned.

Tuesday, defense lawyers for Arnold Diana told Maine’s Supreme Court there were a handful of errors during the case.

The lawyers also found issue with his jail time.

Diana was sentenced to 45 years.

In July 2012, he was found guilty of murdering Katrina Windred in 2010.

There is no timeline for a Supreme Court decision on the matter.
