A man from Farmington Falls is accused of leading police on a more than 100-mile-per hour car chase from Skowhegan to Fairfield.

43-year-old Ernest Nault is charged with passing a police roadblock, speeding, eluding an officer and theft, among other charges.

Fairfield police say Nault was being pursued Friday night by Skowhegan Police on Route 201.

We’re told he was clocked at 103 miles-per-hour by a Fairfield officer.

Police say they put down spike mats at the intersection of 201 and Ohio Hill Road in Fairfield, which stopped Nault’s car so he could be arrested.
