We’ll have a mix of sun and clouds during the daytime hours today with mostly cloudy skies by late afternoon. By tonight some light snow will move into the area due to another coast storm. Locations along the coast will see the most in the way of snowfall with total accumulations mostly ranging from a dusting to two inches by Monday afternoon. Snow start time will be around 9pm Sunday night and should wrap up by around noon on Monday. Again, it will be quite light and could be sporadic at times.
By Tuesday we’ll see partial sunshine because of a high pressure ridge. This flow around the high will bring us northwesterly winds which will keep temps cold for Tuesday (teens mostly) Wednesday the high pressure system will be just to our south and will bring us sunshine for the day. Winds will be from the west shifting to southwest allowing slightly warmer air to move in. Highs look like they will be in the 20s. Then by Thursday, as the high shifts east, the winds will shift and come from the south. This will bring even warmer air into the state and should help to give us highs in the 30s for the day. We’ll also see mostly sunny skies to start the day on Thursday. Some models bring in a disturbance for Thursday afternoon and evening so we’ll keep an eye on that as we get closer.
