Police Hunt For Pittsfield Bank Robber 

For the third time in less than a month, a Somerset County bank has been robbed. The Bangor Savings Bank in Pittsfield was hit this afternoon.

Police say around 2:45 a man walked into the bank wearing a black ski mask, said he had a gun and demanded money. He then fled on foot with some cash and headed in the direction of Interstate-95.

Police say the robber was totally covered up and never spoke during the hold up.

“He held up a white cardboard sign saying ‘gimme all your money, I have a gun and nobody will get hurt’. They gave him the money, he exited out the door walked down through the parking lot and we never saw him after that,” said Pittsfield Police chief Stephen Emery.

The suspect is described as:

* Male

* 5′ 10″ with a medium build

* Wearing a gray and white hat with flaps and dark blue down jacket with gloves
